July-August 2021: No Inhibitions

As a busy Term 2 draws to a close, we are completing the final scenes of the term, wherein we’ve been concentrating on hitting every note within the performance. We’ve seen some very energetic performances in both dramatic and comic scenes over all levels of study from kids and teens to adult classes. The aim being to break down any blocks, inhibitions and self-consciousness that the students may have in an effort to free their instrument.

To Quote: “As always, with acting you can’t be too self-conscience. You shouldn’t care about what people are thinking about you at the time because they’re not caring about you they’re caring about the character.”

Excellent advice when it comes to creating dynamic performances.

Term Dates

Term 2 completes on Saturday 3 July and Term 3 classes commence from Tuesday 20 through to Saturday 24 July.
