Last term – incorporated with general craft and performance skills – we concentrated on the effective use of space and the creative use of the voice in performance.
This coming term we will be studying the power of body language – wherein a simple gesture can be more meaningful and insightful than a page of text.

Movement and Voice Master Class
This fun and intensive short course runs over two consecutive Sundays from 10 am to 5 pm on 11 November and 18 November and is suitable for juniors, teens and adults.
Component 1 (Movement) on 11 November is tutored by movement coach Natalia Ladyko.
Component 2 (Voice) on 18 November is tutored by voice coach Simon Masterton

Screen Acting classes return from Tuesday 9 through to Saturday 13 October and this term we will also be incorporating the wacky and wonderful world of green screen performance into all junior, teen and adult classes.
Studio Christmas Party
The Christmas party and end of year celebration will held at the school on Saturday 24 November from 7:30 pm.

Special Event: Change of Date
As per the notice on our Facebook page, the special cultural event slated for Saturday 29 September has been moved to Saturday 13 October due to a clash with school holidays and the long weekend.
Kicking off at 4 pm on 13 October, the event also celebrates the school’s 30 years in business training actors for the film and television industries.
Tickets are $25.00 (general public) and $15.00 (Screen Actors Workshop students past and present.)
The entrance fee includes entertainment and a sumptuous buffet.
We hope to see you there for what promises to be a fun and entertaining evening.
December Kids Holiday Workshop
The kids holiday screen acting workshop will be held over three consecutive days from Thursday 20 December to Saturday 22 December from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm.
The workshop is an ideal way to give the kids a fun activity with a great end result while parents, unhampered, organise the final preparations for Christmas.

2006 graduate BJ McNeill having established himself as a serious player in the London theatre scene after two smash hit plays is now garnering rave reviews for his current performance piece, Flawed Like a Boy.
The production has earned lavish praise and gushing reviews in the mainstream media and underground press. As a theatre-based writer, producer, actor and director, BJ has proven himself a force to be reckoned with.
Meanwhile, back in Sydney 2014 graduate, filmmaker Logan Webster, had a good crowd for the world premiere of his film Remember Redfield.
The film was well received at the screening on 16 September at The Ritz Cinema in Randwick and numerous current and former students played roles in the production.
